Senior Photos in Geneva Old Town

Zadie may be small in stature, but she is big on focus, determination and achievement. Although only 18 year old when we did her photo session, Zadie had already been accepted into a college in the US to train for … wait for it… WEIGHTLIFTING!!!!! Not only that – she was expecting to start training for the US Olympic Weightlifting team. It never ceases to amaze me how incredible each and every one of my clients is, and I am so grateful that they cross my path.

Out of the ordinary

Let me share a little bit about Zadie’s photo session. During our pre-shoot planning, she told me that she wanted to have some photos in Geneva Old Town. She had grown up in the Geneva/Vaud area, and was about to leave for a very different place. She also wanted her senior photos to be out-of-the ordinary; completely different to the majority of senior photos. So we picked a Saturday morning, identified a few stunning places in the heart of Geneva Old Town, and chose her outfits.

The perfect setting for senior pictures

On the day, makeup artist Michelle arrived bright and early to do the makeover. Zadie confided to me that she had been very unsure whether to go ahead with the makeover, due to a previous bad experience. However, Michelle did an amazing job and Zadie was thrilled with her looks. We collected all her outfits and drove to the heart of Geneva’s Old Town – let the fun begin…

Every session as unique as each graduate

We took 2 hours and had 4 outfit changes in several locations. We started in the City Hall area of Geneva Old Town, with Zadie wearing a gorgeous silk green gown, perfectly complimenting the iconic setting. A couple of outfits and location changes later, we had a complete set of fabulous senior photos – unlike any other! It was a beautiful day, perfect for a photo shoot, and thankfully it only started to get crowded towards the end of the session.

Too many gorgeous senior photos to choose from!

A couple of weeks later, Zadie came to the studio with her Dad to see her photos. They loved them and made a wonderful selection: a leather-bound photo book for Zadie and a canvas piece of wall art for Dad.
