Personal Branding Photos to launch a New Business!
Delphine Martin is planning to launch her nutrition business (coming in early 2021!) and needed some professional personal branding photos for her website and social media. She wanted to position herself as a professional and appeal to her target consumer. She also wanted to create a strong online presence AND be authentic to her personality. No small order!
As a Vaud-based photographer who has been taking headshots for the last 10 years, I was recommended to Delphine. I’ve worked with many corporate executives to up-level their online presence by creating a new set of business headshots. I’ve also worked with entrepreneurs in many fields, from clothes designers to hair and beauty salon owners.
Create a strong brand with intention
Delphine and I met for our initial consultation, then we began the process of planning for her photo session. Yes, I then gave her some homework! Thorough and thoughtful preparation is the most important factor for a successful branding shoot. With each of my clients I take time to consider all the details such as location, outfits, and props. A personal branding shoot that is planned with intention not only gives clients more camera time, it enables us to create the strongest statements for their brand.
Natural, healthy, fashionable, joyful
Shoot day arrived and I met Delphine at her home. She had done all her personal branding homework. Her outfits were ready, the kitchen was sparkling and all her props good to go. So now all we had to do was keep her brand character in mind – Natural, Healthy, Fashionable & Joyful – and have fun! We shot the first 2 setups at Delphine’s home then went to my studio for the second half of the shoot. (I will just add in here that she looked fabulous, having just had her makeup done by Alex at the Institut Vanhove).
Fast forward to a couple of weeks later…. Tada!!! Delphine has a ‘brand new’ set of images that express her individuality as well as her brand message. They give her the kind of stand-out online presence that separates her from all the other nutritionists.
Delphine texted me after her photo shoot to say that she had really enjoyed the session and that she’d received lots of positive feedback on her new photos. However the sign of a satisfied client is when they make the effort to leave a glowing review about my service. I was super-stoked to read Delphine’s ‘official’ testimonial on Google:
Thanks Amber for your amazing work. You are very professional and managed to understand exactly my wishes. The results is amazing and beyond my expectation. The photos are extremely natural and reflect exactly my spirit at that time. Many thanks again, I would recommend Amber at 200%.Delphine Martin

Customised images for Social Media
Check out the new social media banner and profile elements that I created for her. This service is included in the larger packages that I offer so all Delphine had to do was send me her logo and I did the rest.
Delphine will be serving her clients with a customised programme, to include weekly coaching calls and individualised dietary and activity targets. Until then, good luck Delphine with the rest of the launch preparations – I can’t wait to see your new business take off!
